The publisher of Street Journal Magazine, Mogaji Wole Arisekola, has admonished the newly graduated students of the Police Day Secondary School, Garki, Abuja on the importance of integrity as they journey through life.
Speaking at the school's 1st graduation ceremony and passing-out parade for the year 2025, Arisekola, who doubles as the Mogaji of Ajenigieye, Oje, Ibadan, advised the students to always let integrity and humility be their watchwords in whatever career paths they choose.
He said, "Today is a day of joy, pride, and reflection-especially for you, our brilliant students. You’ve worked hard, followed the rules, studied late into the night, worn your uniforms with honour-and now, you’re graduating.
"This school, the Police Day Secondary School, is a symbol of excellence, discipline, and service. And today, we see that excellence in all of you. Your achievements are not small. You deserve to be celebrated!"
Arisekola, the father of the day at the event, added that, "As a father-and I say this with my whole heart-I see the future of Nigeria in your eyes. Whether you go on to universities, technical colleges, the military, police, or entrepreneurship, never forget where you started from.
"Let discipline guide you. Let humility carry you. Let your dreams stretch far.
"To the teachers and staff-God bless you. You have done what many cannot: moulded lives.
"To the parents-I understand your pride and relief today. It is well-deserved.
"To our police leadership and those who have kept this school running – your vision is bearing fruit.
"Dear graduates, go into the world and shine. But never forget: your name is your identity, and your integrity is your shield. Protect it always."
