In a historic event, leading Nigerian retail chain Ace Mall celebrated the grand opening of its Sagamu branch on Saturday, August 2, 2025. This marks the company's 13th outlet.

With over a decade of success in the industry, Ace Mall has expanded significantly, establishing a strong presence across the South West region.

Other branches include locations in Oluyole-Ibadan, Akobo-Ibadan, Bodija-Ibadan, Oyo, Ile-Ife, Osogbo, Saki, Iseyin, Abeokuta, Ilorin, Ogbomosho, and Ijebu-Ode.

During the colorful ceremony, Prince Adeyinka Afonja, Chairman and CEO of Ace Mall, emphasized the company's commitment to excellence in service delivery, youth empowerment, and job creation.

He urged staff members to act as ambassadors for the brand, stating, “I want to implore you to recharge your services with utmost commitment, diligence, and loyalty.”

Afonja encouraged employees to view their time at Ace Mall as a launchpad for their personal ambitions, and expressed gratitude to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for fostering an atmosphere conducive to prosperity.

In his address, Bishop Richard Ige, who supervised the cutting of the tape, praised Afonja as a visionary leader and highlighted the new Ace Mall Sagamu as a testament to purpose and excellence.

“I firmly believe that this brand is not just about profit-making; it’s also about making an impact and contributing to community development," he asserted.

Bishop Ige urged staff to serve with loyalty and dignity while encouraging the residents of Sagamu to embrace the mall as a community asset and support it as a symbol of shared progress.

Located along Oba Erinwole Road, Ace Mall Sagamu enhances the brand’s mission of expanding modern retail and leisure services across Nigeria.

Like its other branches, it features a supermarket, cinema, arcade, and a variety of eateries, offering a comprehensive destination for shopping, entertainment, and relaxation for the Sagamu community and beyond.

The event was well attended by dignitaries.
