Diezani Maduek's Close Associate, Jide Omokore Arrested By EFCC.

The report reaching us has it that one of the biggest men of the Nigeria's Oil & Gas sector, Jide Omokore, has been arrested by the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

 Omokore, Chairman, Atlantic Energy and close ally of the embattled former minister, Diezani Madueke, was said to have been arrested on corruption and money laundering related charges.

Though details of his arrest was still sketchy as of the time of filling this report, but those who should know said he is in the custody of the EFCC, for questioning.
