Oba Sunday Oladapo, the Onpetu of Ijeruland, on Monday, visited the recently commissioned mansion (Adanla's Palace) of the Chairman of Afia Group, Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem MCIArb, MCIOB, МСАВЕ, a.k.a Adanla.
The masterpiece edifice is located at Alhaji Lateef Oyelade G.R.A, Ring Road, Ibadan.
Adanla, In a short video shared on his Whatsapp status, was seen conducting the Oyo monarch round the mansion.
The text which accompanied the video noted that Onpetu's gesture was a royal visit to one of his sons.
According to Adanla, the monarch as a man of God also offered special prayers in commemoration of the new mansion.
He wrote, "The royal visit of the Onpetu of Ijeruland and the head of Oluoje lineage worldwide Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran to my Palace today.
"Kabiyesi as also a man of God offered prayer, he was very happy to visit one of his sons.
"Banjoko Adanla was born at ijeru and was a prince, according to Kabiyesi's book I can trace my Royalty to the 17th century and luckily my late mother is a princess from Fijabi and Akere.
"I am entitled by blood to four thrones, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, the Onpetu of ljeruland the Olugbon of Ile igbon and the Iba of iyaoje.
"As an Olubadan in waiting, the palace is ready and waiting on God for the crown."
Adanla, who doubles as Turaki Adini of Oyo State and the Mogaji (family head) of Adanla Compound on Wednesday, 1st January,2025 hosted family and friends to a colourful get-together, marking the official opening of his new mansion and new year party.
