Mohammed Amin Lamptey, Ghana Boxing Authority, GBA’s Communication Director, confirmed the shocking news in an interview, stating that the deceased was buried last Friday.
According to Lamptey, "no one has said what caused the sister’s death, but losing two family members so close together has left those left behind struggling to cope."

It took months to sort out getting his body back to Nigeria, where he was finally buried in Lagos on June 19, 2025.
