All roads led to ancient Eruwa town, the headquarters of Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Saturday, 28 June, 2025 when HRM Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin 1, was coronated as new Eleruwa of Eruwa land.
The historic event, held at the Eleruwa Stadium, Sango, Eruwa, had in attendance a good number of top dignitaries from all walks of life from within and beyond the state. They include the executive governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde; Alaafin of Oyo, HIM Oba Abimbola Akeem Owo Ade I, and the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin.
Others are the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal; PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Amb. Taofeek Arapaja; former Deputy Governors Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi and Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi; Federal House of Representatives member Hon. Adebayo Adepoju; Chief of Staff to Governor Makinde, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi; Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni; and other senior government officials, royal fathers, and religious leaders.
