3SC Declares Ismail AWOL, Petitions FIFA

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has declared one of its players, Ayodele Ismail, Absent Without Leave (AWOL), accusing him of failing to report for official club duties despite being under a valid contract.

In a statement issued by the management of the Ibadan-based Nigeria Premier Football League side on Saturday, the club also alleged that an Egyptian-based football agent, Abdelhamid Adel of AMB Sports Management, played a role in the player’s unauthorised absence.

According to the club, Ismail’s failure to honour his contractual obligations amounts to a serious breach of his agreement with Shooting Stars.

The Oluyole Warriors maintained that the player remains under a binding contract with the club, warning that any club, intermediary or representative interested in securing his services must negotiate directly with 3SC through the appropriate channels.

The club further disclosed that it has officially reported the conduct of the Egyptian-based agent to FIFA, describing him as unprofessional and alleging that his involvement in the matter contravenes established football regulations.

Reaffirming its determination to protect its interests, Shooting Stars said it would pursue all available legal and football regulatory measures to safeguard its contractual rights.

The statement stressed that the club remains committed to enforcing the terms of its agreement with the player and ensuring that all parties comply with the applicable football regulations.
