Exclusive! Inside Aisha Achimugu’s N9bn Assets Forfeited to FG (Photos)

Exclusive photographs of the luxury assets worth over ₦9 billion linked to businesswoman Aisha Achimugu have emerged, offering a rare glimpse into the high-value properties now permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.

Among the recovered items are an extensive collection of jewellery valued at about N4 billion and a fleet of luxury vehicles estimated at over N5 billion.

The assets became the subject of public attention after a Federal Capital Territory High Court in Apo, Abuja, ordered their final forfeiture.

Justice Jude Onwugbuzie granted the order following an application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which argued that investigations showed the properties were reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities.

Before the final ruling, the court had issued an interim forfeiture order and directed interested parties to show cause why the properties should not be permanently forfeited.

With no successful opposition to the application, Justice Onwugbuzie subsequently made the order absolute.

Exclusive photographs obtained by our correspondent reveal the scale of the recovery, showcasing exotic vehicles, luxury jewellery and other valuable items at the centre of one of the EFCC’s most significant asset recovery cases in recent times.

Describing the judgment as another milestone in its anti-corruption drive, the EFCC said the recovery underscores its commitment to tracing, recovering and permanently depriving criminals of proceeds linked to financial crimes.
