Lagos Business School Alumni Association (LBSAA), Southwestern Chapter, brought together business executives, entrepreneurs and professionals for a refreshing blend of networking, wellness and physical fitness at its LBSAA-SW Fitness Workout Session, held on Saturday in Ibadan.
The event, themed “Boardroom & Fitness,” underscored the growing importance of healthy living among business leaders, promoting the belief that corporate success and personal wellbeing are inseparable.With participants turning out in colourful sportswear, the session featured aerobic exercises, fitness drills, stretching routines and other wellness activities aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles while strengthening bonds among members of the alumni community.
The programme revolved around the message, “Strong Minds. Strong Bodies. Stronger Together,” highlighting the need for executives and entrepreneurs to deliberately invest in their physical and mental wellbeing to remain productive in today’s demanding business environment.
Beyond the workout, the event also served as a networking platform where alumni exchanged ideas, rekindled old relationships and explored new opportunities for professional collaboration and business partnerships.The Southwestern Chapter described the initiative as part of its commitment to fostering holistic leadership by encouraging members to balance career excellence with healthy living.
Participants noted that regular physical exercise enhances productivity, reduces stress and sharpens decision-making—qualities essential for effective leadership in both the public and private sectors.
