Arisekola Foundation Takes Community Support Further, Unveils Borehole, Toilet Project

Community development and educational support will take centre stage in Ibadan on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as the Mogaji Wole Arisekola Foundation commissions a newly constructed borehole and toilet facility for residents of the family compound.

The foundation will also distribute 4,000 exercise books, school bags and mathematical sets to children in the community as part of its back-to-school support programme.

Mogaji Wole Arisekola, who announced the programme in an invitation to family members, friends and residents, said the occasion is intended to provide practical support to his people while helping children prepare for the new academic session.

According to him, the borehole and toilet facility were provided by the Mogaji Wole Arisekola Foundation as part of efforts to improve basic amenities within the community.
He urged families to attend the commissioning and share in what he described as a significant occasion.

The educational component of the programme is expected to benefit schoolchildren directly, with the distribution of 4,000 exercise books complemented by school bags and mathematical sets.

Arisekola’s latest intervention adds to his well-established profile as a community-focused businessman and philanthropist.
He has been heavily and consistently involved in public interventions and community development activities in Ibadan and beyond, while his recent nomination for the traditional title of Jagun from his position as a Mogaji on the Olubadan of Ibadan traditional ladder by Oba Rashidi Ladoja has further placed him in the spotlight of Ibadan’s community and traditional affairs.

In a notable condition attached to the invitation, Arisekola specifically stated that politicians are not welcome at the event, signalling that the gathering is intended primarily as a family and community occasion rather than a political function.

For Arisekola, the initiative represents a combination of community infrastructure and investment in the younger generation, with the foundation using the back-to-school season to provide practical assistance to families.
