Alhaji Babatunde Ologburo and his beautiful wife, Alhaja Bola Ologburo are in a celebratory mood.

The couple's daughter, Barrister Ifedolapo Abike Ologburo, on Friday, 2nd May, 2025, tied the knot with her heartthrob, Sherifdeen, in Calgary, Canada.

It was a celebration filled with love, culture, and elegance. The civil registry ceremony had in attendance a select group of close family and friends who celebrated their union with joy and pride.

Ologburo, a prominent Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, couldn't curtain his joy while praying for the newly joined couple as he describes the occasion as one of the most fulfilling moments of his life.

Barrister Ifedolapo Ologburo is a distinguished first-class law graduate of the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business from York University, Toronto, Canada.

She previously served as Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Legal Matters and is currently the Manager, Contracts – Technology & Analytics, Supply Chain and Global Sourcing at one of Canada’s leading corporate firms.

Her spouse, Sherifdeen, is an accomplished IT expert based in Canada, marking a union of two outstanding professionals in the legal and technology sectors.

The event, no doubt, blended Nigerian tradition with a modern flair, reflecting the couple’s cross-cultural journey and shared values.

Meanwhile, City People has exclusively gathered that the traditional wedding and reception will hold in a yet to be announced date early next year.

The wedding ceremony promises to be a glamorous one. It will attract all the who-is-who in business, corporate, politics, social and other sectors to Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State. The reason is not far-fetched, Babatunde and Bola Ologburo are not only successful but lovable and well celebrated couple in Ibadan. They are also well connected.

While Omo Oba Tunde holds sway in construction and real estate sectors, his wife is a major stakeholder in the fabric business sector.
