Chief (Mrs) Tawa Sarafadeen Alli on Monday joined an array of prominent political figures and emerging leaders at the Oyo State Emerging Political Leaders Summit 2026, where she was decorated as an Ambassador of the Emerging Political Leaders (EPL) initiative for the state.
The summit, held at the Ibadan Civic Centre, Ibadan, was convened under the theme, “Bridging the Gap, Uniting Political Strength, and Mobilizing Emerging Leaders for 2027.”
Organised by the Emerging Political Leaders Summit and powered by the Close The Gap Initiative, the gathering brought together political stakeholders, grassroots mobilisers, youth leaders, women, community influencers and other politically relevant voices to deliberate on political inclusion, unity and strategic mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
Alli, who was specially invited to the summit, was formally recognised as a participant and subsequently decorated as an EPL Ambassador for Oyo State, underscoring the organisers’ recognition of her political relevance and standing.
Her participation in the high-level gathering was significant, particularly at a time when political stakeholders across Oyo State are increasingly focusing on coalition-building, wider inclusion and stronger grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 elections.

Organisers said the summit was conceived as a strategic platform to deepen political inclusion, strengthen reconciliation among critical actors, improve grassroots coordination and build a broader and more united political front ahead of the 2027 elections.
For Alli, the ambassadorial recognition adds another dimension to her participation in the state’s political conversation, placing her among personalities being encouraged to contribute to efforts aimed at strengthening political engagement and leadership development in Oyo State.
The summit is expected to continue on Tuesday, with further discussions focused on political consolidation, strategic engagement, coalition-building and mobilisation for the 2027 electoral cycle.
