Tawa Sarafadeen Alli is set to distribute exercise books to pupils participating in the ongoing free holiday coaching programme sponsored by her husband, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State for the 2027 election.The exercise books will be distributed on Thursday, August 27, 2026, as a follow-up to the one-month intensive educational programme designed to keep pupils and students academically engaged during the long vacation.
Held at Leaders Root International School, 2, Alawode Avenue, Mokola, Ibadan, the initiative is targeted at primary school pupils, as well as students in JSS1–3 and SS1–3.
Rather than allowing the holiday period to become an extended break from learning, the programme combines academic coaching with practical skills development, giving participants opportunities to improve their academic performance while acquiring useful life skills.
From Mondays to Thursdays, participants receive academic coaching, while Fridays are dedicated to skill acquisition training.
The planned distribution of exercise books is expected to complement the academic sessions by providing beneficiaries with essential learning materials and further reinforcing the importance of continuous study.
For many of the pupils, the gesture could come as a timely intervention, particularly as the cost of educational materials continues to place additional pressure on families preparing their children for a new academic session.
The initiative also highlights the broader emphasis being placed on supporting young people through practical educational interventions that extend beyond conventional classroom instruction.
