Aremo Adekunle Adegboyega Alao is a prominent figure in Osun politics, having served as a two-time honorable commissioner in the state and held various other political positions in the past.

He is one of the founding members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.

Currently, he serves as the Federal Commissioner for the Public Complaints Commission (PCC).

The big news is that Lele, as the debonair politician is popularly known in social and political circles, has joined the Senate race for Osun Central.

He is ready to take over the zone's seat from the incumbent senator, Fadeyi Olubiyi, who is also a member of the PDP.

Alao, a native of Inisa in Odo Otin Local Area of Osun State, laid his academic foundation in Offa, where he completed his secondary education.

He later attended the Federal School of Arts and Science in Ondo, followed by the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), where he earned a degree in sociology.

Not satisfied with his academic pursuits, the ever-knowledge-hungry Adekunle Alao furthered his studies at the University of Jos, obtaining a postgraduate degree in public policy in 1988.

In 2012, Alao pursued and earned a Master of Public Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso.

Beyond academia, Aremo Kunle Alao has built a professional life that has tested and refined his leadership skills.

He began his corporate career at LABS Deroy Centre LTD under the guidance of Ambassador Akinyemi Farounbi in 1990.

As proof that Kunle Alao's network extends beyond Osun State, he also worked at LIB Engineering LTD in Ibadan, owned by the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, between 1991 and 1992, where he navigated the demanding world of the private sector with excellence.

He fully joined politics in 1992 and has since served to the best of his ability in various capacities as a public office holder.
