Activist Lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi To Celebrate 40th Birthday With 100 Students Scholarship

Renowned activist lawyer and politician, Barr. Pelumi Olajengbesi, is set to mark his 40th birthday with a remarkable gesture of generosity.

The annual Law School Scholarship, with applications opening now and closing January 30th, 2026, will be strictly for 100 indigent students from his Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency (Ijesa North), Osun State, to commemorate the landmark celebration in August this year.

This initiative, announced on Wednesday through his Facebook page, underscores Olajengbesi's unwavering commitment to education and community development.

The scholarship program aims to alleviate the financial burden on families and empower bright young minds to pursue their academic aspirations.

Speaking on the upcoming celebration and the scholarship scheme, Olajengbesi stated, "This August, I will step into 40 with a heart overflowing with gratitude to God.

"And this year, every step of this celebration will be taken back home to Ijebu Jesa, Ijesa North, and by extension Osun State.

"Not as a gesture, but as a privilege to be part of the stories God is writing in our land.

"This year, my annual Law School Scholarship for 100 students is reserved only for Ijesa North (Oriade/Obokun) indigenes.

"Apply before 30th January, 2026 via [email protected]."

Olajengbesi, known for his fervent advocacy for justice and human rights, has consistently championed causes that uplift the underprivileged.

This scholarship program is seen as a continuation of his dedication to social impact, further solidifying his reputation as a leader deeply invested in the welfare of his community.
