Arc. Sola Omotoso MNIA, the esteemed MD/CEO of Pleasant Design Concept Limited (PDCL), shared a profoundly touching tribute on Monday (today) as he marked what would have been his beloved mother's 78th birthday.

The poignant commemoration, observed posthumously, saw Arc Omotoso reflect on the enduring legacy and cherished memories of a woman who shaped his life and countless others.

In a heartfelt message shared on his Whatsapp status, Arc. Omotoso spoke of his mother's unwavering strength, boundless love, and the invaluable lessons she instilled.

"Happy birthday to my Gold in Heaven! Today marks what would have been your 78th birthday, and my heart returns once again to the priceless memories of you, my dearest mother, Chief Elizabeth Dada Omotoso JP," he wrote, emphasizing the lasting impact of her wisdom and compassion.

He added, "I woke up today wrapped in thoughts of a woman whose life was a gift to everyone she encountered. A mother who lived by her convictions, who gave herself selflessly to the well being of all, and whose love knew no bounds. You were grace personified, firm in faith, rich in compassion, and generous in spirit.

"This day carries a deeper ache because it should have been a celebration of long life, marked with joy, drums, laughter, and thanksgiving. Instead, it reminds me of your absence and the silence your departure left behind.

The tribute painted a picture of a remarkable matriarch whose influence transcended her lifetime.

Remembering her life, it's noted that Chief (Mrs.) Elizabeth Dada Omotoso (née Allen), the Akorewolu of Usi-Ekiti, passed away at the age of 69 in 2017.
