Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his wife, Mariam Ajibola, are celebrating the arrival of twin princes, marking a significant expansion for the Royal House of Oduduwa.
The revered monarch shared the joyous news on his official Facebook page on Friday, expressing profound gratitude for the healthy delivery of both mother and children.
In his statement, the Ooni conveyed heartfelt thanks: "To God be all the glory and adoration for His wondrous works and abundant blessings once again! Warmest congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and to Olori Mariam Ajibola on the joyous arrival of twin princes to the royal throne of Oduduwa today. We give thanks to Almighty God as both mother and children are in good health."

This happy occasion follows a period of notable marital developments for the Ooni, who, after his previous marriage, welcomed six wives into the royal fold within a three-month span in 2022.
These unions, including that with Mariam Anako, were later explained by the Ooni as being influenced by the traditional heritage of Ile Ife, as reported by The Punch.
