Thousands of residents across Ayiwola, Ayedire, Iwo, Olaoluwa and neighbouring communities in Osun State benefitted from a massive humanitarian intervention on Monday as the Yeyelowu Fatima Adeola Oyelude Makama Foundation rolled out free healthcare, educational support and food relief to vulnerable families.
The community outreach attracted a large turnout of beneficiaries, with medical professionals offering free general health consultations and eye examinations to residents who ordinarily have limited access to quality healthcare.
One of the major highlights of the programme was the distribution of 500 prescription eyeglasses to people diagnosed with vision challenges during the exercise, helping many regain clearer sight without paying a kobo.Education also took centre stage as the foundation distributed free school materials to more than 2,000 pupils and students drawn from public schools across the benefiting communities.
