Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Sunday led family members, close associates and worshippers to a solemn remembrance service in honour of his late father, Pa Olatubosun Makinde, marking the 14th anniversary of his passing.
Service, held at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan, was filled with prayers, hymns and heartfelt reflections as family and friends celebrated the life, values and enduring legacy of the respected patriarch.

“This morning, we held a remembrance service at the Cathedral of St Peter, Aremo, Ibadan, to mark the 14th anniversary of the passing of our father, Pa Olatubosun Makinde. Although it’s been over a decade, we still miss him dearly every day. May his gentle soul continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord,” the governor wrote.
