Aregbesola Stages Peace Concert For Buhari, APC

The Osun State Government is fully prepared to hold what it described as a “Peace/Awareness Concert – Operation Show Your Voters Card”, aimed at promoting peaceful elections and mobilising support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari.

The event will also serve as a platform to campaign for massive votes for Buhari and other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections, while sensitising eligible voters on the need to safeguard their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

The concert, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2015, will take place at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Old Garage, Osogbo, Osun State.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who was also the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the Buhari/Osinbajo 2015 Campaign Organisation, is expected to attend the event as the Guest of Honour.

A number of popular artistes and entertainers have also been lined up for the concert. They include TCode, MC Churchill, Lace, Kiss Daniel, Small Doctor, Yahoopapi, Stylee Brodaz, as well as other prominent Osun hip-hop acts.

The event is supported by U&I Audio Visual Studio, OSBC, Freedom TV (Ominira), Brainbox (Balo) and other partners.

Organisers said the concert is expected to combine entertainment with voter awareness and a call for peaceful participation in the 2015 general elections.
