Few months after the death of her twin sister, Taiwo, singer Kehinde Oshadipe has released a touching tribute single titled My Reflections in memory of her beloved sister and musical partner.
In the song, Kehinde reflects on the special bond she shared with Taiwo, describing her late twin as the closest friend, family member and partner she had known throughout her life.
According to the singer, Taiwo was not only her twin sister but also a constant source of joy and companionship whose absence has left a significant void in her life and career.
Despite the painful loss, Kehinde said she remains committed to pursuing the musical dream she shared with her late sister.
“Taiwo’s sudden passage has created a huge vacuum in our musical career, but the dreams we both shared are a priority with no option at all,” she said.
The new single, My Reflections, was produced by Wale Oni and serves as Kehinde’s musical tribute to the memory of her late twin.
Taiwo and Kehinde, popularly known as the Oshadipe Twins, had built a reputation as a singing duo before tragedy struck in October 2014.
Taiwo died on Friday, October 3, 2014, after reportedly complaining of chest and heart pains.
Her death came as a shock to family members, friends and admirers of the singing duo, who had followed the twins’ musical journey.
Through My Reflections, Kehinde is now keeping alive the memory of her twin sister while continuing with the musical aspirations they once pursued together.
