Baba Olowere’s Legacy Lives On as CAC Oke-Imole Marks 48 Years of Faith, Revival

The enduring spiritual legacy of the late Prophet M.O. Olowere, renowned for his unwavering commitment to soul-winning, holiness and revival, will once again come alive as Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke-Imole Oluwatedo District Coordinating Council (DCC) Headquarters, Agbowo, Ibadan, celebrates its 48th anniversary with three-day revival.

The anniversary celebration, themed “Thanksgiving,” is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, July 22 to Friday, July 24, 2026, beginning 4:00 p.m. daily at the church premises in Agbowo, Ibadan.

Although Prophet M.O. Olowere, the revered church planter, has passed on, members say his passion for evangelism, fervent prayers and uncompromising devotion to God’s work remain the foundation upon which the church continues to thrive nearly five decades after its establishment.

His life was widely regarded as a testament to selfless service, humility and steadfast faith, virtues that continue to inspire generations of worshippers within and beyond the CAC.

The three-day programme is designed as a season of thanksgiving, worship, revival, intercession and the preaching of the Word of God, with the church reflecting on God’s faithfulness over the past 48 years.

According to the organisers, the celebration will also provide an opportunity for believers to experience divine visitation, spiritual restoration, healing, breakthroughs and renewed blessings through heartfelt worship and fervent prayers.

The event will be led by the DCC Superintendent, Pastor Adebiyi S. Adams, while Pastor Sam Olowere will minister as the guest speaker.

The anniversary also pays tribute to the remarkable foundation laid by Prophet M.O. Olowere, whose vision gave birth to the congregation and whose ministry continues to shape its spiritual direction.

Church leaders described the anniversary as more than a celebration of longevity, saying it is a moment to honour God’s unfailing faithfulness and the enduring legacy of a man whose ministry was dedicated to bringing countless souls to Christ.

They called on members of the public, families, friends and well-wishers to participate in the revival, expressing confidence that the programme would be a life-transforming encounter marked by powerful worship, the manifestation of God’s presence and a renewed commitment to Christian service.

As the church marks 48 years of existence, the celebration stands not only as a thanksgiving for God’s abundant grace but also as a fitting reminder that while Prophet M.O. Olowere may have departed this world, the revival fire he ignited and the spiritual values he championed continue to burn brightly.
