‘N700,000 Aso-Ebi, 400 Guests’: Inside Peller, Jarvis’ Multi-Million-Naira Wedding Plans

Nigeria’s social media space is counting down to what is shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrity weddings of 2026 as TikTok sensations Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller and Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis prepare to exchange vows on August 1, 2026, capping a relationship that has kept millions of followers glued to their screens for nearly two years.  

Unlike conventional celebrity weddings, preparations for the highly anticipated event have unfolded in full public view.

Beyond unveiling the official wedding date through a cinematic “Save the Date” video, the couple has also introduced a premium aso-ebi package that has sparked widespread conversations online.

Perhaps the biggest talking point is the official wedding aso-ebi, with Peller revealing that the eight-yard fabric costs 700,000 naira, while a four-yard option is also available.

According to him, about 400 invited guests are expected to wear the exclusive fabric, making it one of the most expensive celebrity wedding aso-ebi packages seen in recent years.  

In another indication of the scale of the ceremony, the couple has personally delivered invitation packages and aso-ebi materials to prominent personalities, including socialite Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest and celebrity couple Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux.

During one of the visits, Cubana Chief Priest publicly pledged ₦10 million in support of the wedding after receiving his invitation.  

Industry observers believe the ceremony could become one of the most talked-about influencer weddings in Nigeria, with celebrities, content creators, brand partners and digital entrepreneurs expected to grace the occasion.  

The journey to the altar has been anything but ordinary.

Peller first proposed to Jarvis in December 2024, but the engagement immediately generated controversy after Jarvis described the ring as a “promise ring,” leaving fans uncertain about the true status of their relationship.

Months later, she acknowledged that the proposal had indeed been genuine.  

Their romance also survived several public storms, including social media disagreements, breakup rumours, relationship speculation and controversies that frequently dominated online conversations.

Yet, despite repeated predictions that the relationship would collapse, the pair continued to build their brand together while keeping fans invested in every chapter of their love story.  

On June 3, 2026, Peller made another proposal during a romantic ceremony at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, where Jarvis accepted, effectively ending doubts about their intention to marry.  

Barely weeks later, Peller travelled to Benin City, Edo State, to formally meet Jarvis’ family, fulfil traditional marriage rites and pay her bride price.

The couple subsequently completed their civil wedding, leaving the church ceremony scheduled for August 1 as the final stage of their union. 

Their official wedding announcement, released in a thriller-style video ending with the inscription “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026,” instantly went viral across social media, attracting millions of views and congratulatory messages from fans, celebrities and fellow creators.  

With the countdown already underway, excitement continues to build over what many describe as a landmark celebration for Nigeria’s digital entertainment industry.

From viral TikTok livestreams and comedy skits to engagement controversies, public proposals and lavish wedding preparations, Peller and Jarvis have transformed their relationship into one of the country’s most closely followed love stories.

If current anticipation is anything to go by, their August 1 wedding may well become the biggest influencer event Nigeria has witnessed this year.
