National Council of Muslim Youth Organisations (NACOMYO), Oyo State Chapter, on Thursday paid an appreciation visit to the CEO of AFIA Group, Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem, MCIArb, MCIOB, MCABE, the Mogaji of the Adanla Family, in recognition of his support for the successful hosting of the Hijrah 1448 Awareness Programme.
The delegation, led by the Oyo State Coordinator of NACOMYO, Dawood Bolaji Afolabi, and accompanied by the chairmen of the organisation from all 11 local government areas in Ibadan, visited the palace of the Turaki Adinni of Oyo State in Chief Lateef Oyelade GRA, Ibadan, to formally express gratitude for his unwavering support for the Islamic youth organisation.
Presenting a letter of appreciation, the organisation commended Adanla for his generous donation and physical presence at the annual Hijrah Awareness Programme held recently at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
According to the letter, NACOMYO described the businessman and philanthropist’s support as instrumental to the success of the programme.
The organisation also appreciated his commitment to the growth of Islam and his unwavering support for initiatives that promote unity, moral values and youth development.The appreciation letter, signed by the Oyo State Coordinator, Dawood Bolaji Afolabi, quoted the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on gratitude, while offering prayers for Allah to replenish Adanla’s wealth, elevate him beyond his expectations and continue to bless him and his family.
The visit also followed the conferment of the Distinguished Dawah Ambassador of the Year award on Adanla during the Hijrah 1448 celebration, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Islamic propagation and humanitarian service.
Speaking during the visit, members of the delegation offered special prayers for the AFIA Group CEO, his family and his continued success in all his endeavours.
