Dare Adeleke Celebrates Omisore At 69, Salutes His Years Of Service To Osun, Nigeria

APM/PDP chieftain, Hon. Dare Adeleke, has celebrated former Osun State Deputy Governor and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Otunba Iyiola Ajani Omisore, as he marks his 69th birthday.

In a birthday tribute issued on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Adeleke describes Omisore as a “remarkable human being and extraordinary Nigerian,” while also commending his leadership experience, philanthropy and contributions to public life.

Adeleke joins family members, friends, political associates and Nigerians across different walks of life in celebrating the former senator, whose career has taken him through engineering, public administration and partisan politics.

According to him, Omisore’s journey reflects years of service, resilience and commitment to the development of his people, particularly in Osun State.

He recalls that Omisore has served as Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and also as the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress.

Adeleke notes that those different responsibilities have given Omisore considerable exposure to governance and the complexities surrounding public administration and nation-building.

Beyond his political offices, Adeleke says Omisore’s influence is also reflected in the personal relationships he has cultivated over the years and the goodwill expressed by people who have encountered him in different spheres of life.

He describes the outpouring of birthday wishes from prominent figures as well as ordinary Nigerians as evidence of the relationships and connections built throughout Omisore’s public journey.

“His greatest legacy is the human connection he has built over the years,” Adeleke says, while describing the celebrant as an “exceptional leader and uncommon philanthropist.”

Reflecting on Omisore’s 69 years, Adeleke says the former senator can look back on a life marked by significant public engagement, experience and achievement.

He further describes Omisore’s knowledge of Nigeria’s political and administrative environment as valuable to both Osun State and the country.

As he marks the milestone, Adeleke offers prayers for renewed strength, wisdom, sound health and many more years of fulfilment for the former deputy governor.

He also wishes Omisore greater peace and joy in the years ahead, while praying that he continues to find opportunities to contribute to the growth and unity of Osun State and Nigeria.

Adeleke concludes his tribute by congratulating Omisore on his 69th birthday and celebrating him as an “extraordinary and outstanding” Nigerian.
