Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, will on Tuesday, November 3, unveil his much-anticipated OYO AHEAD Manifesto, setting out his development vision and policy direction ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Alli disclosed this in a message to his supporters and the people of Oyo State, announcing that the presentation would take place at T.O. Ogunlesi Hall, UCH, Ibadan.
The manifesto presentation is expected to provide a detailed insight into the senator's proposed approach to governance, including his priorities, development agenda and plans for repositioning Oyo State.
Describing the initiative as an opportunity to present a vision for the state's future, Alli said every great future begins with a clear vision and the courage to translate it into reality.
He urged residents, political stakeholders and supporters to identify with the initiative, stressing the importance of collective participation in building a better Oyo State.
According to the announcement, the event will also be accessible to a wider audience through a Facebook live broadcast, participating media organisations and Oyo AHEAD Radio at oyoaheadradio.live.
The unveiling comes against the backdrop of increasing political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political parties and their candidates intensifying efforts to communicate their programmes and win the confidence of voters.
Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, formally declared his governorship ambition in April 2026 after consultations with political leaders, traditional rulers and other stakeholders across the state.
He was subsequently recognised as the APC's governorship standard-bearer for the 2027 election.
His OYO AHEAD initiative is built around a development framework addressing local government autonomy, infrastructure, healthcare, education, economic empowerment, agriculture and security.
The policy framework also identifies job creation, investment, grassroots development and improved public service delivery as important areas requiring attention.
With the manifesto presentation scheduled for Tuesday, political observers and residents will be watching closely to see how Alli intends to translate the broad development priorities into practical policies, measurable targets and programmes capable of addressing the state's challenges.
The unveiling is also expected to provide an opportunity for the APC candidate to explain how his proposed agenda would distinguish his administration from existing governance approaches and deliver tangible benefits across the state's 33 local government areas.
Announcing the countdown to the Tuesday’s event, Alli concluded with the campaign message: "Together, let us move Oyo AHEAD!"
