Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, has formally introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the congregation, describing her as the church’s new First Lady.The introduction took place during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, marking the first public appearance of the couple in their new marital relationship.
Addressing the congregation, Odukoya spoke about his search for a suitable life partner before announcing his marriage, drawing inspiration from the biblical account of Adam and Eve.
“You know the Bible said it is not good, it said I will find someone suitable. When Adam saw Eve, he said this is the flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone. I was searching and I found,” he told the congregation.
He also addressed reactions to an earlier social media post announcing his engagement, noting that some people had questioned whether the photograph was an artwork.
“Some of you saw the post, some people said, is this artwork? No, it’s my wife. Allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs Odukoya, a new First Lady, my wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya,” he declared.
The announcement followed a teaser shared by the cleric on social media on Saturday, October 31, which featured images suggesting his engagement to a new partner and generated considerable interest among his followers.
Odukoya’s latest announcement has also drawn attention to his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko, whom he married in March 2013. The former couple have two daughters together.
The development marks a new chapter in the personal life of the cleric, who is also an actor and son of the late founding pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.
